摘要
本文基于人力资本理论和筛选理论,利用全国高校毕业生就业调查数据,通过建立多元逻辑斯特回归模型和一般线性回归模型,对修读双学位的经济收益和非经济收益进行了实证研究。研究发现:双学位可以为学生带来明显的升学和求职优势,以及工资收入上13.3%的增长,且双学位的回报还会因第一专业的不同而不同。本文进一步通过深度访谈分析了双学位的作用机制,并提出为提高双学位的毕业率、保证更多学生获得双学位收益,我国高校应该进一步完善双学位教育体系,为学生的理性选择以及学习提供支持和辅导。
Based on the Human Capital Theory and Screening Theory, the paper analyses the economic and non-economic benefits of acquiring Double Majors employing Multinomial Logistic Model and Ordinary Liner Square Model using data from a national survey of college graduates' employment. Results show that undergraduates with Double Majors are more likely to pursue graduate education or find a job after graduation and have 13.3% higher earnings from their first job. Furthermore, the benefits of Double Majors are different among undergraduates with different first majors. The paper further explores the beneficial mechanism of Double Majors and comes up with the suggestions of improving the supporting system of Double Majors in order to increase the graduation rate of Double Majors.
