Distributed Digital Library Prototype of Talia Based on Semantic Web

Talia代表了当前最新的人文社会学科的研究及出版发布水平。该系统利用本体所具有的语义功能进行信息资源组织,实现资源的自动查询和检索。以基于语义Web数字图书馆Talia为研究对象,从Talia的体系结构、创新功能、资源组织和用户服务深入剖析语义Web数字图书馆的基本功能框架,指出Talia是一个新型分布式语义数字图书馆系统,并概括了Talia基于语义Web的建设理念与技术给数字图书馆建设带来的启示。

On behalf of current humanities research and publishing level, the distributed digital library prototype of Talia carried out information resources organization via ontology semantics, in order to fulfill automatic query and information retrieval. The paper focused on Talia, from the aspects of system architec- ture, innovative features, information resources organization and user service, deep analyzed the basic functions of the distributed digital library prototype of Talia, which was constructed on semantic web. It concluded that Talia was a new kind of distributed semantic digital library system, and outlined the impli- cations of digital library construction based on the concepts and techniques of semantic web in Talia.
