The paper lays emphasis on phenomenon of cavitation and damage through the medium of water The existence of cavitation and damage in hydraulic system can be induced from the analogue ratio treating water and oil as media Also, the mechanism and factors which contribute to the forming of phenomenon cavitation and damage are also major as well as its harmfulness and common measures of reducing it
