Lots of original materials about Jinghuayuan can be found in Chinese novels, traditional operas and jokes, including plot themes; portray characters, source of names, contradiction between the Wind Aunt and Flora and jokes of hen - pocked robbers, which contributes to the understanding and grasp of the creative process and artistic style of Jinghua- yuan.
