There are some grammar mistakes in the 5th revised and enlarged edition of the Modem Chinese edited by HUANG Bo- rong and LIAO Xu- dong,such as improper language use, redundancy, improper words collocation, compo- nent or semantic defects and omissions, ambiguity, lengthy sentences and punctuation errors.
