The paper introduces the evolution process for the protector rack in China and abroad in the architectural projects, illustrates the work- ing principle of the hoisting frame and the craft procedure for the hoisting frame erection, and indicates some attentive issues in the application process for the hoisting frame, so as to provide some reference for the application of the hoisting frame in high-rise buildings.
