Analysis on the Multiple-Values of Urban Roads

城市道路是多元价值的载体,具有裁分建设用地、组织多元交通、形成街道界面、调整场地朝向、提升土地价值、制造交通屏障、形成视觉通廊等众多作用,而不仅仅是单一的机动车交通通道。以多元化和综合性的的眼光看待各种类型的城市道路,不仅仅是为了理解城市道路和城市交通设计,更是为了建筑群体设计、场地设计以及城市设计,为场地建立起有效的结构系统。进一步说,城市道路的结构与形式还与城市形态、城市理想息息相关。该文对这一问题进行了简明的分析和阐释。

Urban roads are the carrier of the multiple-values. Besides simple working as traffic channels in people＇s daily life, urban roads play other roles. For example, urban roads divide blocks, carry the transportations of various grades and types; make up the street interface, form the barrier of transport; deflect the site orientation, optimize the usage of lands, shape up visual corridors, and so on. In depth, there exists a close relationship among three factors： the structure of urban roads, the appearance of city and the expectation of urbanization. It is better to take the multiple-values of roads into consideration in the process of urban design. And the focus of this paper will be a brief analysis on the topic.
