It introduces treatment process for the excess H 2 content in the oil for the 40 MVA transformer with the coiling mode of SFF7-40000/20(ONAF/ONAF)type.According to the result it analyses the factors that might cause the excess H 2 content.Several points of attention during the site installation and operation are stated.
