摘要
利用传输矩阵理论,研究了含负折射率材料一维光子晶体异质结构的吸收特性。发现光子晶体异质结构某些带隙内出现单向吸收峰。结果表明异质结构带隙内单向吸收峰的频率范围由构成异质结构的两个光子晶体各自的能带结构决定。另外发现异质结构在带隙单向吸收带内的吸收普遍高于其在通带内的吸收。该研究结果可用于制造单向吸收光学器件和提高光子晶体对光波的吸收。
Absorption characteristics of one-dimensional heterostructure photonic crystal containing negative index materials were calculated with the ,cransmission matrix method. It is found that the heterostructure photonic crystal can exhibit unilateral absorption peaks. The results show that the frequency ranges of the unilateral absorption peaks are determined by the band gap structures of each constituent photonic crystal. Moreover, the absorption in unilateral peaks is found to be higher than that in the pass bands of the structure. The results can be used to design the photonic devices with unilateral absorption and enhance the light absorption of photonic crystals.
