Lesbian Literature in the West and its Theoretical Construction

女同性恋理论的构建糅杂了性学、心理学、社会学、女性主义、哲学、文学中的相关成份,不以传统的"正常"和"异常"来划分异性恋和同性恋,对传统的生理性别、社会性别和性欲这三者间的关系进行了新的解读,虽然还不完善,但是为解读人类这一客观现象提供了新的视角,而文学作为人类本性和历史的记录也为女同性恋理论的构建提供了沃土。女同性恋书写和其理论构建的历史证明,女同性恋是人性表征的一客观现象,不是对性和性别的医学解读。女同性恋文学承载着女同性恋作家长期艰难的思考和探索,不同的女同性恋作家表征着不同的女同性恋内涵。女同性恋文学值得研究,因为女同性恋作家在"她者"的倾诉中揭开了女同性恋存在的事实和其艰难困境,颠覆了人类性别两分的窠臼,诉求着女同性恋者的权利,为剖析人类"性"的多元复杂本质提供了更开阔的思索空间。

The lesbian theories integrate the relevant elements of sexology, psychology, sociology, feminism, philosophy and literature, and refuse to classify homosexuality and heterosexuality into ＂normal＂ or ＂abnormal＂ with new interpretations of the relations among sex, gender and sexuality. Though not perfect, such theories provide new perspectives for interpreting the actual existence of lesbianism. Literature as a reflection of human nature and record of human history provides a favorable ground for the construction of lesbian theories. Lesbian literature carries with itself the long anck difficult reflections and exploration of lesbian writers while different lesbian writers reveal different lesbian implications. Thus, it is worthwhile to study lesbian literature because lesbian writers as ＂the Other＂ disclose the actual existence of lesbians and their predicaments, subvert the dual classification of human sex, appeal for lesbian rights, and provide a broader vision for revealing the complicated sexual and gender implications of mankind.
