基于框架理论的英语词汇习得优化方案

Optimum Proposals of English Vocabulary Acquisition Based on Frame Theory

20世纪60年代,Fillmore将"框架"这一概念引入语言学,框架语言学的诞生为词汇和语法研究提供了一种基于认知的方法。文章在框架理论视域下,提出了三套英语词汇习得优化方案:一是将母语词汇框架与英语词汇框架区分开来;二是尝试建构新的英语词汇框架;三是使用框架理论强化对具有"非常规意义"英语复合词的理解和记忆。

Grammar can be regarded as a frame with any slots and words are more similar to any elements that can be used to fill in the slots. None of information for communicating can be transmitted successfully with- out any words, which shows the importance of the vocabulary acquisition. In the 1960s, Fillmore introduced con- cept ＂framework＂ to linguistics, then the appearing of framework linguistics brought a fresh method based on cognition science to study of vocabulary and grammar. In this paper, the author makes optimum proposals of English vocabulary acquisition based on frame theory：to distinguish native language vocabulary framework from English vocabulary one;to construct new English vocabulary frameworks in mind;to comprehend strongly the English compounds with unconventional meanings and enhance memory based on frame theory.
