Laboratory Construction Must Being Pragmatic ——Interview with Proferssor ZHOU Xing-ming,the Academician of CAS( Continued)

周兴铭院士结合自己的经历提出了科学实验对科学技术的发展是不可替代的,在高校培养人才是第一位的。教学型与科研型实验室根据它的任务不同特点也不同。对如何建设好实验室提出了要务实、节约、开放,评估要适当,实验人员地位要提高等意见。最后谈了对推动仿真实验工作的看法。

Combining with his own work experience, Academician ZHOU Xing-ming deems that science experiment is irreplaceable for the science-technology development, and cultivating talent is primary task for the universities, and laboratory should have own features according to its task of research-oriented or teaching-oriented, and laboratory construction must be pragmatic, saving and opening. Meanwhile, he considers that the evaluation of laboratory can not be too often, should be appropriate, and laboratory staff should have a better treatment. At last, he put forward the opinion about to promote the simulation experiment.
