On Translation and Introduction of Japanese Library Science in Late Qing Dynasty

梳理19世纪中叶至1912年日本图书馆学在中国的译介,指出1888年傅云龙已使用"图书馆",1910年"图书馆学"一词首现于《图书馆教育》一书。

This paper expounds the translation,introduction and influence of Japanese library science in China from the middle period of 19th century to 1912, points out that Fu Yunlong had already used ＂library＂ in 1888. The word ＂library science＂ first appeared in the book Library Education in 1910.
