医学伦理学与传统文化的关系,是特定学科与构成它的观念、思想和理论的社会文化基础的关系。古代医学伦理思想是与人类文化共生的,但文化起源不同也带来医学道德观念上的差异。近代以来,西方传统文化对成为世界主流医学的西医学体系下形成的医学伦理学的产生和发展具有重要影响,并且这种影响是通过多种渠道达到和完成的。生命伦理学作为医学伦理学新的发展阶段,是西方社会文化传统的直接产物。医学伦理学与传统文化的关系是相辅相成的。建构根植于中国传统文化沃土的医学伦理学是该学科本土化的重要选择。
