摘要
设计并实现了一种基于ESXi的虚拟机备份与恢复系统。通过远程抓取虚拟机变化的数据块,并将其备份到备份服务器来实现灾难备份,通过将备份数据写回到远程虚拟机来实现灾难恢复。系统只需部署于备份服务器,便可快速高效地备份虚拟机,并不会增加虚拟机的额外负载;提供Web服务器可使用户远程控制备份恢复任务;支持多种备份与恢复策略。
A Virtual Machine Backup and Recovery System based on ESXi is designed and implemented. The System is implemented by crawling the changed data block on virtual machine remotely and by writing the backup data back to the remote virtual machine to restore to its previous state. The system only nced to be deployed on the backup server, then it can back. up data fast and efficiently without bringing additional load to the virtual machine, it provide a Web server which allows users to control the backup and recovery task remotely, it supports a variety of backup and recovery strategy.
