论刘勰

摘要 本文是朱东润先生1960—1961年度为中文系五年级学生讲授《中国文学批评史》课程讲义的第六章,后另写专文,拟单独发表,并在1970年所撰类似本人学案的《遗远集叙录》一文中,列为学术代表作,但生前一直没有发表。本文针对当时拔高刘勰"是一个辩证唯物论者"的看法,加以澄清,对其文学批评贡献重加评估。认为《文心雕龙》的出现是与两晋以来形式主义文学斗争的产物,刘勰提出复古的文学标准,"是回到更朴素、更接近于自然,而不以修饰打扮为美的社会去"。解释《原道》的道"止是自然存在的现象",《宗经》、《征圣》是"以复古为革新"。对创作论和批评论的开拓意义,给予高度礼赞。与先生早年所著《中国文学批评史大纲》比较,本文对刘勰的认识有了新的提升。 This article was the sixth chapter in the handouts of the university course 'The History of Chinese Literary Criticism,' which was later adapted into a paper and supposed to be published separately. It was listed as the author's representative work in his another article 'yiyuan jixulu,' something like the records of his academic achievement,but was not published in his life. In this article, the opinion 'Liu Xie is a dialectical materialist,'which was an overestimate was clarified,and Liu's literary criticism was revisited with new revaluation. It argued that Wen xin diao long was the product of the debates within the literary formalism since the Jin Dynasty,in which Liu advocated reverting to old ways,'return back to the society simpler and closer to nature,instead of a one takes elaboration as beauty. 'Zhu explained the 'Dao'in the chapter 'Yuan dao'was the natural phenomenon,and 'Zong jing'and 'Zheng sheng'took restoring the traditional ways as innovation. He highly praised the book's pioneering role in creative writing and criticism. Compared with his Outline of the History of Chinese Literary Criticism written in his early life,this article entered a new stage of the research on Liu Xie.
