This paper analyes the challenges and opportunities facing the current elevator safety work, summarizes the successful experience and regret of the application demonstration project of the elevator Internet of Things in Dongcheng District, Beijing, and states the prospect of Internet of Things technology in improving elevator safety, reliability, comfort and supervision of quality ＆ safety, etc.
