通过对高质量广场绿化特征的分析、总结了当前存在的问题，从植物材料选用比例、树种选择原则、植物造景、种植设计、花卉及草坪应用几个方面提出了设计的对策。旨在提高寒冷地区城市广场的绿化质量。

The thesis aims at improving the qualities of greening in the urban squares of cold region. Through the analysis about the features of high quality greening in squares. it summarizes the problems existing by now and approaches the policies of design from six aspects, such as the proportion and principles of plant materials selection, the creating scenery by plants. the plants design and the applications of flowers and grass.
