A Cognitive Approach to Language Montage Pattern

语言交际过程是意义的整合及建构过程,意义的整合和建构牵涉到概念的整合及转喻隐喻推理方式。作为电影制作的重要手法之一,蒙太奇在日常语言的意义建构中同样起着重要的作用。本文提出一种新的意义建构模式:蒙太奇模式,并从概念整合和并置视角阐释蒙太奇在意义建构中的运作机制。

Language communication is a process of meaning integration and construction, which involves conceptual blending and metonymical and metaphorical inferences. As an important method of film producing, montage plays an equally significant role in meaning construction in language communication. This paper proposes a new meaning construction pattern： Montage Pattern, and attempts to explain the operation mechanism of montage in meaning construction from the perspective of both conceptual blending and juxtaposition.
