Self-expression among the Fetter of History:On He Qifang's Poetry Translation

何其芳的诗歌作品和诗歌理论受到了研究者的青睐,但其对待译诗的态度以及他的诗歌翻译作品却很少有人关注。有鉴于此,从三个方面论述何其芳的诗歌翻译观念和实践:首先是探讨阅读译诗时提高诗人素养和创作的影响;其次是分析何其芳译诗表现的主题和特色;从情感内容和形式审美两个方面论述何其芳翻译德国诗人海涅和维尔特作品的主要原因,从而说明何其芳的诗歌翻译与创作之间的变奏关系:早期的诗歌创作受阅读译诗的影响,而后期诗歌翻译则受自身创作理念的影响。

Except of He Qifang＇s attitude to translated poetry and his translated works, his Poems and poetics have been studied by scholars. Accordingly, the essay discussed He Qifang＇s concept and practice of poetry translation from the following aspects： firstly, on the effect of developing poets＇ creative attainment by reading translated poems; secondly, on the themes and characteristics of He Qifang＇s translated poems; thirdly, on the reasons why He Qifang translated the German poets, Sonja Henie and Wilt, from the views of both contents and forms, so that to illustrate the interactive relationship between translation and creation. He Qifang＇s was influenced by reading translated poems in the earlier time, but his translated poems were influ- enced by poem creation in the evening of his life.
