子宫肌瘤栓塞治疗的初步临床应用

Initial Results from Uterine Artery Embolization for Uterine Fibroids

目的 报道子宫肌瘤动脉栓塞治疗的临床疗效。方法 对 11例有症状的子宫肌瘤患者 ,用聚乙烯醇或明胶海绵微粒 ,行两侧子宫动脉栓塞。结果 患者临床症状均有明显改善 ,肌瘤体积明显缩小。结论 子宫肌瘤行子宫动脉栓塞治疗 ,近期疗效确切 。

Objective To report the effective ness of uterine artery embolization for uterine fibroids. Methods Eleven patients with symptomatic uterine fibroids uderwent bilateral uterine artery embolization with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) or gelatin sponge particles. Results The clinical symptoms improved obviously and the volume of leiomyoma reduced in all patients. Conclusion Uterine artery embolization is effective in controlling symptoms and reducing fibroid volume.
