BACKGROUND To search for a new method of colorectal anastomosis after resection of middle and low rectal cancer. CASE REPORT 24 cases were performed colorectal intussusception's anastomosis after resection of rectal cancer. There had no operative anastomotic fistula and anastomotic stenosis in all cases, and the defecation returned to better. DISCUSSION To sum up the advantages and several problems of this kind of operation, it is consider that this method is obviously better than the traditional end to end anastomosis.
