摘要
作为开启中国近代文明先发之地的吴地,在其教育向近代转变过程中形成了女学教育、工商业兴学、深受教会教育渗透等区域特色。吴地发达的经济文化、"兼容并包"的风俗、"敏而好学"的性格特点、崇尚文化教育的历史传统与"较为开通的社会习俗"等,是吴地近代教育区域特色形成的主要原因。
As the open land of China＇s modern civilization, the Wu Area witnessed its process of the modern educa tion transformation with the characteristics of the female education, industrial and commercial college, and the church education infiltration. The regional characteristics of the developed economy and culture, eclecticism, being sensitive and studious, advocating the historical tradition of cultural education and ＂relatively open social customs＂ are the main causes of the modern education in the Wu Area.
