Interpreting Modal Responsibility With Psychological Space Theory

摘要 文章以《爱玛》及其两个中译本为对象,从作者、译者及目的语读者之间的关系出发,研究情态是怎样实现人际意义建构的。通过分析发现译者在人际意义建构过程中采取了三个步骤:识别原文作者所要表达的人际意义;充分考虑目的语读者的需求;选择合适的表达方式来传达源语中的人际意义。 With two Chinese versions of "Emma", it aims to study the way that modality constructs interpersonal meaning. Three steps that translators construct interpersonal meaning are discovered, including identifying the original interpersonal meaning that the writer intended to express, considering the need of the target readers, and selecting an appropriate way of ex- pressing the original interpersonal meaning.
