摘要
社会语言学是一门新兴的学科,它重在通过研究语言的社会因素来研究语言的问题,这种研究方式对英语听力教学产生了很大的影响。英语听力一直是英语学习者比较薄弱的课程,所以教师应该改进教学方法,从而改善教学效果,帮助学生树立信心和决心学好这门课程。通过列举具体的例子,从四个方面讨论了社会语言学对英语听力教学的影响和启示:英语听力教学和社会文化教学相结合;设计形式多样的听力训练;鼓励学生扩大词汇量;呼吁学生注重语言的变化性。
Sociolinguistics is a burgeoning science, and of the social factors. This study method exerts strong influence on is always poor subject for the English it studies language mainly through the study English listening teaching. English listening learners, so the teachers should develop the teaching methods, then improve the teaching effect and make the students confident in learning this subject. Through the detailed examples, this paper intends to discussthe influence of sociolinguistics and the insight it sheds on English listening teaching from four aspects: combining English listening with culture, achieving the goal of teaching via kinds of listening practice, encouraging students to enlarge the vocabulary and appealing students to pay more attention to the linguistic variation.
