Historical Tragedy and Revolutionary Fable: the Acceptance and Development of 20^(th) Century China to Marxist Theory of Tragedy

20世纪的中国正值最苦痛最富悲剧意识也是最革命最具艰难抉择的历史时期。由于革命的拯救和思想启蒙的需要,中国思想界第一次将理论的焦点凝结在悲剧的身上。在面临着自己的现代性悲剧困境的情形下,他们迅速与马克思主义悲剧理论对拍,形成了现代中国特有的悲剧观念和悲剧精神,并在文学表达上寻找着最适合的方式来表达这种悲剧性体验和反应。

China in the 20th century was in the historical period of the most painful, most tragic consciousness and the most revolutionary, and the most difficuh choice. Due to the needs of revolutionary salvation and enlightenment, it was the first time for the theory in China to focus on condensation in the tragedy. In the face of their own tragic plights, they docked with Marxist theory of tragedy quickly, forming the unique tragedy ideas and tragic spirit of modem Chinese, and looking for the most suitable way to express this tragic experiences and reactions. This study discusses the acceptance and development process of 20^th Century China to Marxist theory of tragedy.
