Record-high gas reserve growth
In the year of 2012, gas reserve growth maintained the momentum of the previous year. Newly-added proven gas-in-place was 961.22 bcm （33% higher than 2011）- the highest ever- and newly-added proven technically- recoverable gas-in-place was 500.8 bcm （36% higher than 2011）. By the end of 2012, China had found an accumulative gas-in-place of 11.06 tcm and remaining technically-recoverable gas-in-place of 4.7 tcm.
