英语专业与非英语专业学生英语写作问题对比探究

A Comparative Study on English Writing Problems Between English Majors and Non-English Majors

英语写作常被认为是大学生英语学习的瓶颈。为找出英语专业与非专业学生在学习中遇到的英语写作问题及其异同点,本文访谈了广东某二本院校一年级英语专业与非英语专业学生各一名。结果显示,二者在写作情感与动机、英语基础问题、英汉差异、写作习惯与策略等方面遇到的问题均存在异同。本英语依据这些异同点分析了问题背后的原因并提出了相应的对策。

English writing is often considered a difficult part for college students to learn about.This paper aimed to find out the problems existing in English major and non-English majors＇ compositions,and tried to analyze the similarities and differences of them by interviewing two freshmen from different majors in a college of Guangdong.The results showed that the following problems are included：writing emotions and motivations,basic questions in English,English-Chinese differences,writing habits and strategies.According to these problems,the reasons were found out and some advices were put forward.
