摘要
词汇是语言的细胞,掌握大量的词汇是学好一门语言的基础,英语学科也不例外。积累的词汇量直接影响中学生的口语交际能力、阅读能力和写作能力。目前很多中学生英语学不好的根本原因就是单词量积累的数量不够。本文根据我国现行中学英语词汇的教学现状及教学大纲的具体要求,论述了中学英语单词教学的地位,单词教学中存在的一些问题以及一些常用的单词教学的方法。
Vocabulary is the cell of a language, so the mastery of a large vocabulary is the basis of learning a language well, and English is no exception. Vocabulary directly influences middle school students' abilities of oral communication, reading and writing. The basic reason of many middle school students' poor English is the lack of vocabulary. In accordance with the current situation of middle school English vocabulary teaching in China and the specific requirements of the teaching syllabus, the position of middle school English word teaching is elaborated in this paper, and some problems existing in word teaching and some common methods of word teaching are also expounded.
