This paper emphasizes the importance of quality-ori-ented education in higher vocational education, analyzes the characteristics of quality-oriented education and the difficulties during its implementation, points out some defects of the current quality-oriented education in higher vocational colleges, and puts forward some personal views on how to improve it. In this paper, the author highlights the influence of teachers, emphasizes the importance of environmental integrity and persistence on quali-ty-oriented education, and points out that only the combination of quality-oriented education and the professional cultivation of students, and the connection of the cultivation of social people＇s general quality with the cultivation of professional quality, are right approaches.
