艺术类高职院校英语课程设置与教学模式探究

Exploration on the English Curriculum Development and the English Teaching Mode in the Art Vocational Colleges

高职英语教学的目标是培养学生的综合职业英语能力,目前高职院校公共英语教学改革的一个重要环节就是如何更好地实现基础英语教学与专业英语教学的有效衔接。本文通过分析艺术类高职院校英语教学的现状和特点,论证在巩固基础英语的基础上加强专业英语的课程设置的必要性和可行性,并探讨项目教学法及4A教学模式在高职英语教学中的应用。

The goal of higher vocational English teaching is to cultivate students’ comprehensive professional English language competence.At present an important step in higher vocational college English teaching reform is to achieve the effective cohesion of general English teaching and professional English teaching.Based on the analysis of the current English teaching practice and characteristics in the art vocational college,the paper discusses the necessity and feasibility of the English curriculum mode of general English teaching plus professional English teaching.It further explores the significance and application of project-based teaching and proposes the 4A English teaching mode.
