The development of higher vocational education and the reform of cultivation model of professional talents create a new environment for the ideological and political education. There are achievements and problems exist in ideological and political education in Yangling Vocational and Technical College, a new situation and environment needs a new cultivation model of pro- fessional talents, therefore understanding students ideological situation to reform education and teaching ideology and methods, to improve students ideological quality and meet the requirements of society and units for professional talents.
