分析了用植苗、直播、天然更新、营造混交林、天然（野生苗）移植、伐桩萌芽等进行水曲柳更新造林的基本方法，并根据多年观测的林木生长数据，指出：水曲柳更新造林成活率、保存率高．生长迅速．干形良好，实生起源者后期生长潜力很大。适合培育优质用材林，可用多种更新造林方式方法营造优质用材林和扩大其林分面积。

The basic methods of regeneration forestation with transplanting. direct-seeding. natural regeneration, cultivating boxed forest. natural seedling transplantation and sprouts of cutting pegs were analyzed. and the long-term observed data of tree growth were provided. The results show that it would provide beneficial information for the regeneration forestation of Fraxinus mandshurica. Both the preserving rate and the survival rate of regeneration forestation of Fraxinus mandshurica were high. It grew fast with the good shape of trunk and the potential growth of the seedlings in the later stage was very high. It is suitable for cultivating high quality timber. So multiple methods of regeneration forestation could be adopted to cultivate the high quality timber and extend the forest stand areas.
