运用文献资料法对我国民俗体育浪漫主义元素消逝现象进行阐述,再从人文社会学角度分析其原因,即:市场经济条件下使民俗体育逐渐丧失了生存的土壤、社会转型期西方强势文化对本土传统文化的冲击、物质文明与精神文明的不协调发展。最后提出其现代化发展对策,如:转变观念,强化思想认识;普及民俗体育文化知识,提高文化自信;扩大对外交流,促进共同发展;大胆借鉴,适当的现代化改造等。
