Communications Between Hunan and Japanese Cities in the 21st Century:Problems and Countermeasures

自1983年起,湖南与日本城市在经济、文化、城市管理等各领域开展了交流,这在一定程度上促进了湖南经济社会的发展。与此同时,湖南与日本城市的关系发展中也存在一些阻碍因素,因国情不同,经济上的差异,湖南自身对外开放程序都对双方城市关系的进一步发展产生了影响。从湖南省情出发,采取统筹规划,加强宣传等更为有效的措施来推动双方城市间的交流合作,既是湖南扩大对外开放的需要,也是湖南"走出去",提升国际化水平的需要。

Since 1983, Hunan and Japanese cities have started to communicate in the economic,cultural, ur- ban management areas,promoting Hunan＇s development of economy and society. There are some problems in the communications between Hunan and Japanese cities, which are caused by different national condi- tions and economic levels. The further develpment of the communications has been effected. Countermeas- ures like systematic planning and publicity are put forward according to the current situation of Hunan Province,so as to promote exchanges and cooperation,expand Hunan＇s opening to the outside world, and enhance the level of internationalization.
