摘要
从国外"写作危机"出现的成因及其对策论述了其对中国阅读教学的启示。目前"重听说、轻读写"成了国内英语教学教改的主流,然而20世纪60年代国外出现的"写作危机"却给我们敲响了警钟:强调听说训练绝对不能以"牺牲"读写训练为代价;要使学习者在英语学习上有长足的进步,大量的阅读输入是必不可少的。分析了阅读在英语学习中的必要性,并从课堂阅读教学和课外阅读两方面提出"有效输入"的方法与策略。
This paper discusses the enlightenments of "Writing Crisis" abroad to the teaching of English reading in China. At present, English teaching in China focuses more on listening and speaking than on reading and writing. However, the "Writing Crisis" abroad in 1960s acts as a warning sign. It is, of course, necessary to improve the learners~ abilities in listening and speaking, but it is of equal importance to help the learners have-a good command of reading and writing skills. Reading should be considered the base for English learning. Without substantial reading, the learners would have nothing in stock to aid them in speaking and writing. In this sense, the learners should be taught how to read effectively both in and out of class.
