Qu Qiubai is one of the outstanding leaders in the early revolutionary period of Chinese Com- munist Party and he is a combination of revolutionist, theorist, publicist, literature writer and poet. His old style poems are extraordinary for their deep meaning, various patterns, having antique flavor. In this paper, the au- thor analyzed the poet＇ s acceptance of traditional prose, collective poems, quoted poems, ragged verses, and his artistic conception. Qu＇ s old style poems not only mimic the structures of the traditional prose but absorb the inner artistic conception of old prose. The clever combination of structure and conception forms the sinceri- ty, conscience, beauty, elegance of his poems. QuQiu bai＇ s old style poems originate from the wise people in his hometown, inheritance from his literary family, and his diligence against the changing times. Qu Qiu bai＇ s old style poems are the elegant and poignant flowers in the three thousand long poetic history of China.
