An Analysis on the Number of Yu Zhai's Collections

愚斋藏书是清末著名人物盛宣怀的藏书。由于藏书流散,书目编纂的缺陷以及研究方法存在的问题,学界对其数量一直未有明确结论。本文试图在已有研究的基础上,通过追寻藏书的踪迹,结合文献提供的线索,对愚斋藏书数量进行探讨。

Yu Zhai collections are collections of Sheng Xuanhuai, a noted political figure of the late Qing dynasty. The number of Yu Zhai collections has not been proved due to book scattering, defects in bibliographics, and methodological problems. This paper attempts to trace the collections and study the number of Yu Zhai collections based on other scholars＇ research attainments and the documentary material.
