摘要
随着社会的不断发展,英汉语言里不断有新的词语出现。从新词新语的定义、特点、构成、发展趋势等几个大方面探讨了英汉语言里近些年里出现的一些新词新语。指出人们对待新词新语要持包容的态度,辩证地看待新词新语的发展。
With the development of human society,new words keep popping up in English and Chinese language. This paper discusses new words in the two languages from the following aspects： definition,characteristics,formation,and future trend. Finally it proposes that people should hold a tolerant and dialectical attitude towards new words.
