That Evening Sun ,A Rose for Emily and Barn Burning are the significance novels of William Faulkner. Dur- ing that period, these small volumes of short novels touched kinds of contradictions of the U.S. southern society artistically. And the social order and morality lead and restrict the other contradictions both of them are the basic power manifestation of that time. While people were restricted by the social power, they were turning into the performers unconsciously because the life they lived. All those above give rise to the thinking from ours.
