随着计算机应用的不断普及，计算机与网络之间的联系越来越密切。大到政府机关、企业单位、百货商场、银行，小到一个部门、一个办公室、一个家庭，实践证明单机操作已无法满足现代生活和工作的需要，原因是没有连网的计算机不能做到资源的共享和信息的交换，也无法发挥配置计算机的优势。本文以以太网为基础介绍在寝室内怎样组建局域网及其应用。

with the using of computer, the contact of computer and network become more and os-culation. It is used in many fields, for example, office, corporation, company, family and so on. Ithas been proved that stand-alone computer can not meet the require of modern life and work, be-cause without network it can't live up to share the resource and exchange in formation, also it can'ttake advantage of high configuration. This article mainly introduces the application and construction in our dorm throughout the Ethernet.
