This essay, by listing six different methods of solving the ancient ＂Distribution of Cattle＂ issue from various perspectives, presents a vivid example of how the ＂Borrowing Cattle＂method is applied in the mathematical practice which can prove the mathematical learning is an activity of creative thinking.
