Manufacturing industry is a significant reflection of comprehensive strength and international competitiveness of a country, and it determines the status of the country in the international division of labor under economic globaliza- tion. In face of the problems in the development of manufacturing industry in China, and combined with the development trend of the world＇s manufacturing power, we put forward the effective means to help our country develop from a big manufacturing towards a manufacturing power. It includes interactive development of manufacturing industry and engi- neering, integrative development of manufacturing industry and services industry, coordinated development of manufac- turing services industry and ecological environment.
