The author points out after analyzing that falling of ceramic cup wall falling is the main reason of abnormal tem- perature rise on side wall of No. 7 blast furnace hearth in Shaoguan Iron and Steel Co. , Ltd. and such problems get solved properly by constantly improving the hearth operation management system.
