The rich cultural connotation and aesthetic implication in Mao Zedong＇ s poems are increasingly accepted by for- eign readers. In the course of English translation of Mao Zedong＇ poems, language schemata, content schemata, stylistic schemata and cultural schemata should be transferred properly so that the essence in the poems can be delivered successfully and a positive effect will arise on China＇ s cultural transmission to overseas countries.
