进入21世纪后,分析哲学家更加关注对自身历史的研究。在他们看来,只有挖掘了分析哲学发生、发展的历史,才会使人们更清楚地理解分析哲学产生的重要历史意义,理解分析哲学问题的重要价值。同时,分析哲学家更加关注分析哲学与西方哲学史关系的研究,试图通过揭示两者之间在思想上的血缘关系,表明西方哲学发展的连续性以及分析哲学对西方哲学传统的继承性。这种对历史的强烈关注,恰恰反映了分析哲学发展的成熟,表明分析哲学真正回到了西方哲学的传统。

In the 21st century,analytic philosophers are more concerned about their own history.In their view,as the reason,only exploring the occurring and developing history can help people understand the important historical meaning of analytic philosophy and the value of questions it focused on.And,analytic philosophers are more concerned about the relationship between analytic philosophy and history of western philosophy.Trying to reveal the mental kinship above,analytic philosophers want to show that analytic philosophy inherits the western philosophical tradition and the history of western philosophy is a successive history.The strong preoccupation with history not only reflects the maturity of analytic philosophy but also means that the analytic philosophy has been back to the tradition of western philosophy.
