Ten famous Xin'an prescriptions

新安医家化裁古方、创立新方,流传至今的很多经典名方都出自新安医籍。笔者从新安医籍中遴选出大健脾养胃丸、壮原汤、六味地黄丸加黄柏知母方、金锁固精丸、止嗽散、资成汤、五味消毒饮、黄土稻花汤、养阴清肺汤、清金解燥汤等10首临床实用、疗效确切的新创方或首载方,并按来源、(别名)、组方、(制备)、功效、主治、用法的体例,统一整理、归纳,加按语阐析说明,以方便临床学习、使用和参考。窥一斑而知全豹,运用、研究和开发新安名方,充分发挥其防病治病的医疗作用,满足现代临床需要,有着重要的现实价值和意义。

Doctors of Xin＇an medical school were proficient at modifying ancient prescriptions and creating new ones and left us a precious legacy. 10 famous new prescriptions or first-documented prescription with approved curative effect in clinical practice were selected from Xin＇an medical books, which were Jianpi Yangwei Pill, Zhuangyuan Decoction, Liuwei Dihuang Pill and Huangbai Zhimu Decoction, Jinsuo Gujing Pill, Zhishou Powder, Zicheng Decoction, Wuwei Xiaodu Drink, Huangtu Daohua Decoction, Yangyin Qingfei Decoction, Qingjin Jiezao Decoction. Moreover, these prescriptions were sorted, and generalized according to their sources （alias）, compositions （preparation）, efficacy, major functions and usages, coupled with explanations and descriptions in details so as to facilitate clinical study, use and reference. As it is said that from a glimpse of a segment we can know the whole picture, it is of great practical value and significance to apply, research and develop new Xin＇an medicine, to fully display the medical function of disease prevention and treatment and to meet the modem clinical needs.
