The process that putting geographic data into database and developing an examples using ArcSDE is introduced. It built the da- tabase using ArcSDE for Oracle and achieved the storage of the space data and attribute data using ArcSDE,it completed the data ware- house work and the development work which needn＇ t to interact with the database directly. The system uses C/S （Client/Server） mod- el,completed the data warehouse work with the related geographical information data in the client and developed the example using the environment of Visual studio2005＋C# language development and ArcEngine （AE） in the server. It achieved the function of putting geo- graphic data into database, querying, browsing, managing and so on.
