摘要
通过悬浮聚合法将1种和苯乙烯互溶的油溶性液体阻燃剂磷酸三(β-氯乙基)酯(TCEP)均匀分散到聚苯乙烯材料中制备了阻燃聚苯乙烯树脂。研究了TCEP对悬浮聚合温度和聚合时间的影响,使用凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)和傅里叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)对其分子结构进行了分析。分别使用极限氧指数测试(LOI)和热失重分析(TGA)对其阻燃性能进行了表征,最后使用扫描电镜(SEM)分析了燃烧成炭的形貌。TCEP成功负载到PS珠粒当中,并发挥了很好的阻燃效果。
Flame retardant polystyrene(PS) was prepared by suspension polymerization at the presence of an oil-soluble flame retardant tris(β-chloroethyl) phosphate (TCEP). The influence of TCEP to the polymerization, such as polymerization temperature and time, was investigated in detail. Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FT1R) were used to characterize the chemical structure of the composite. The flammability and the thermal properties were evaluated by using limiting oxygen index(LOI) test and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) respectively. The char residue of the sample was investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). All the results demonstrated that TCEP had been well dispersed in PS beads and the flame retardancy of PS was significantly improved.
