This paper briefly introduces the method of Image Map used in the application of industrial design , and apply the technology to extract product design elements, which let design process much scientific. In this paper, numerous public benches as the research object were extracted, and using the technology to conduct a comprehensive analysis, to extract more persuasive design elements.
